"NetWeaving" is a Golden Rule and a "Pay It Forward" form of networking which inspires people to be a 'connector' of others with their needs in mind, as well as a 'no-strings-attached resource' - doing both with the confidence to know that 'what goes around, does come back around'.
What is NetWeaving Hosting?
The most effective way for a NetWeaver to perform as a connector and as a resource for others is to 'host' meetings to introduce two people to each other with their needs and interests in mind rather than his or her own. Then when the persons 'hosted' usually look for ways to repay their NetWeaver host, they are simply challenged to 'pay it forward' and host a meeting for two others. For this reason, Catherine Ryan Hyde, author of the book on which the movie classic was based, and creator of the Pay It Forward Foundation, gave permission for NetWeaving to be known as the Business version of 'pay it forward'.
Why are NWing - PIF Meetings So Powerful?
When two people are brought together by their NetWeaver host and they get to know each other below the superficial level and they explore ways to help one another, there is a form of energy created which you have to experience to really appreciate. In addition, they will often also discover people they know in common whom they never would have met without this introduction.
